We have raised our Cockapoos in our home as members of our family. They are very social, loving and outgoing. They play with our family, each other, our cat and up, down and around the hillside adjacent our property on the shoreline of Isabella Lake. They all love splashing in the water, are good swimmers and enjoy visiting the lake during the hot summer months.Stew’s Poos is a registered breeder with the North American Cocakapoo Registry. All of our dogs receive an annual or bi-annual eye exam as advised by CERF (Canine Eye Registry Foundation) and are certified free of joint problems by OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals).

    • Born 10/29/02. Black & tan phantom 1st generation Cockapoo, bred by Rhonda’s Cockapoos of Hesperia, CA. Issi weighed 11 lbs. at one year. She is AKC-provable, OFA-registered and and she had her last eye exam as recommended by CERF in July 2007.
    • Isabella is being retired later this year and we are looking for a good home for her - possibly a senior or older couple without children. She will be spayed before going to a new home.     • Born 10/31/07. Pele is a blue merle 2nd generation Cockapoo bred by Rusty Nelson at Central California Cockapoos in Fresno. Her dam and sire are Birdwalk’s Ruby and Oz’ Indigo Blue. Pele is AKC-provable and should weigh about 12-lbs. when full grown.

    • Born 4/3/08. Silver is a 3rd generation Cockapoo, bred by Stew’s Poos. She was black at birth and is turning silver - a color not often seen among Cockapoos. Her sire is Blazer and her dam Hershey’s Kiss. Silver is expected to weigh 10 lbs. or less at one year.

Her dam and sire are Cari and Big Johnson. We guesstimate that Callie will weigh 12-14 lbs. at one year. She is AKC-provable.

    • Born 5/28/07. Red, 4th generation Cockapoo, bred by Birdwalk Farm of Crossville, TN. His dam and sire are Wild Rose and Aries Rough Rider. He had his most recent eye exam as recommended by CERF in July 2008. His knees were given a preliminary check for patellar luxation by our veterinarian, and he will be certified by OFA after he turns a year old. Blazer weighs 12 lbs. He is AKC-provable and lives in Bakersfield, CA with co-owner, Theda Lightner.

Joey is AKC provable and should weigh about 8-9-lbs. when full grown. His knees were given a preliminary check for patellar luxation by our veterinarian, and he will be certified by OFA after he turns a year old. He had his first eye exam, as recommended by CERF in July 2008. He lives in Fullerton, CA, with co-owner Helen Downing.

Ro-Mo weighed 18 1/2 lbs. at one year. He is AKC-provable, OFA-registered and he had his last eye exam as recommended by CERF in July 2008. He lives in Bakersfield, CA with co-owner, Theda Lightner.

        • Born 8/29/01. Apricot 1st generation Cockapoo, bred by Hoofs & Paws, formerly of San Diego, CA. Mr. D weighed 12 1/2 lbs. at one year. Diego completed intermediate training at PetSmart in N.E. Bakersfield in 2008. He was tops in his class in tricks learned, but not so outstanding in obedience. But he passed.

Hershey was born in our very first litter of puppies. She had a wonderfully sweet disposition and will be missed. We are fortunate to have her daughters: Sasha, Cocoa and Hershey’s Silver Lining to remind us of her.
